Éric Cousin
Passionate about photography, Éric Cousin pushed his Tri-X to its limits in the 1970s to capture the light of his first trips to Nepal, India, Afghanistan, and beyond. Éric cites Jean-Loup Sieff, Mario Giacomelli, and Ernst Haas, as his mentors on his recurring theme of "the journey". He followed his own journey during his rare free moments whilst working as a consultant. In 2010, his passion took over and Eric began to devote himself entirely to photography. He pushes techniques to their limits to achieve lyrical, abstract works. With his lens, landscapes become timeless, shadows, light, depth, the ephemeral, everything merges into a sensual poetry which allows the imagination to run wild.
