Anna Kache

Anna Kache was born in Les Lilas (Seine-Saint- Denis), France, in 1978. She left The Bourges School of Art to live and work in Paris. The world she invents is a scarlet world, shattered by desire and disorder, a world of disheveled threads in which hopes, fiascos and fantasies are woven. She knits, she ties, she binds, she mends, she darns, she stiches up screams, tears, silences, fevers, joy and heartbreak... These are burning phrases : bright red. Endlessly Anna Kache reconfigures the language of love. In her world the feminine codes rule : stilettos, red nails like a hazard or a moment of true happiness.
