Yo Bastoni

Yo Bastoni

Yo Bastoni is a French artist, born in 1961. She lives and works in Provence. She is known for her sculptures in coloured resin : Buxy, Tweety, etc. She is part of the contemporary artist movement generally labelled “post modernism” and “post pop art”. Her motivation is to start with a slightly offbeat idea to create a unique event. Obsessed with shapes, we find the pure lines of Brancusi and the sensual volumes of Niki de Saint Phalle in her sculptures.
